Wine Assortment

In our two vineyards – Saalecker Schlossberg and Hammelburger Heroldsberg, white wines grow predominantly in the varieties of Müller-Thurgau, Silvaner, Bacchus and Pinot Gris.  Exotics such as Perle and Ortega are also part of our collection.

Nearly 20% of the acreage is planted with red wine.  Saalecker Schlossberg is only capable of red wine growth – Dornfelder, Domina, Pinot Noir, Blauer Zweigelt and Pinot Meunier.
